Division of Rheumatology and Immunology

Designated as an Autoimmunity Center of Excellence by the National Institutes of Health, Duke Rheumatology will continue to be on that cutting edge. Duke's dedicated research in autoimmunity ranks it among the top centers in the nation for creating new knowledge in rheumatology and immunology. Our physicians and scientists are engaged in a variety of studies designed to unlock the secrets of autoimmunity, which will lead in turn to more effective therapies. Duke works closely with rheumatologists and other doctors throughout the Southeast to offer patients access to these therapies through participation in carefully designed clinical trails.
